BUMPdate: 30 Weeks...Future contortionist

Tuesday we had our 3d/4d ultrasound and 28/29 week appointment. His heart rate had slowed on down to 147, I'm guessing because he as asleep THE ENTIRE TIME. He is measuring right on schedule for his mid-July appearance still. I've created a new poll also for your arrival guesses. (look over here ---------------------> )
The pictures aren't as clear as we'd hoped for but you can tell Tuck still has his daddy's nose and momma's mouth... and toes..so says his Daddy. :) We also double (or triple) checked that he was still a boy.. indeed he is. Here are a few of the best shots:
Baby Boy's profile, that's his leg and foot right beside his face. He was folded right in half.

His BIG feet

Down shot from the top of his head.. and of course, his leg and foot

Resting his head on his foot.. instead of his hand like normal folk

Full face shot, couldn't get a good picture of his nose. You CAN see his hands in this one. He was playing with his toes.

Bottom of the picture, Check out those toes !!!
He's a handsome little guy if I say so myself !!

Pregnancy Highlights: Nursery crafts, little bitty laundry, rubbing Tuck's bottom, feeling him move all around
How Far Along: 30 weeks, let the 10 week countdown begin!!
Size of baby: Cucumber, 15.2-16.7 inches long, 2.5-3.8 lbs
What is baby up to: His skin is smoothing out thanks to his layer of brown fat packing on, his brain is getting more and more wrinkly. He is now strong enough to grasp a finger and his bone marrow has taken over production of his red blood cells!!
Gained/Lost: At home scale says 23-25 depending on the day. I trust its judgement but dread the 10 weeks left.
Maternity Clothes: I'm ALL about some maternity pants these days, maxi skirts and dresses, and any flowy pre-preggs top that I can find in my closet.
Gender: BOY!! Tucker Andrew Edgington
Movement: Kicking, Punching, Rolling, Flipping, Stretching and what I can only assume to be "mooning". I am constantly rubbing a rump.
Sleep: Hit and miss, being comfortable is key.
What I miss: Being able to sit outside in the sun for longer than 10-15 minutes without feeling like a cooked hog.
Cravings: This week Milk and Raspberry Sweet Tea from Sonic
Aversions: THE HEAT
Symptoms:  Lower back pain sucks, HEARTBURN, Occasional leg cramps, swollen ankles from time to time, lack of sleep
Best Moment this week: Surviving operation “Baby Bed assembly” and feeling Tuck have the hiccups

  1. hiccups are the best! My little J had them numerous times a day and all I could do was smile!

  2. He is a cutie!
Parker had BOTH of her legs in front of her face at the beginning of our 3D US. All you could see of her face was her little nose between her knees! lol Luckily, we finally got her to move and show us herself.
You look fantastic! Be sure to drink TONS of water if you are having the leg cramps and swelling!
