Today I'm thankful for my family

We traveled to Tazewell this weekend for an early Turkey Day. It was so much fun to watch Tuck and his cousins interact. We are spread out from Middle TN to NC these days but I treasure these weekends. Can't wait for Christmas !! (And remember gift buyers, Tucker likes diamonds and sparkles)

I am also thankful for this lady:

She has captured so many precious moments in our family's lives and we couldn't be more grateful to her for it. 

Project Thankful, Day 15

Today I'm thankful for Thanksgiving meals at work!! The smell floating into my cube right now is HEAVENLY!!!

Today, I'm thankful for the little orange box that showed up on my doorstep courtesy of Shutterfly yesterday... this means.. OUR CHRISTMAS CARDS ARE HERE AND READY!!

Today, I'm thankful for in laws that cook! Most Tuesdays we head over to Hubbs' parent's house for dinner. It's always a delicious meal and quality cuddle time with the Tuckster.

Today I'm thankful for a heated home to go home to after work. Buuurrrrr it's freezing ya'll !!!

Project Thankful, Day 11

Today I'm thankful for those who've fought long and hard for my freedoms. I will never take these things for granted, nor will I forget you. I pray daily for your safety and for your families.

I'm also thankful for a tolerant child.. this morning Tuck was up bright and early, and in a fantastic mood, so I took advantage:

Project Thankful, Day 10

I really am thankful, I promise. I'm also a new mom, who tends to stay busy to the point of exhaustion. Soooo.. today I was thankful for the nap I took with my babe and time spent with my family.

I was also thankful for the creative talent that God has blessed with me with, as well as the patience to complete projects. Tuck will be sporting some cuteness, made my mom,  come December 1st:

Project Thankful, Day 9

Today I am thankful for my parents. They are coming to visit today and I couldn't be more excited! They haven't seen Tuckenstien in 6 whole weeks!! That's pretty crazy considering Momma Bear stayed with us for the first 5 weeks of his life. We miss her and Pappy lots and lots!!

They surely love the Tuck!

I am also thankful for my parents because they love me more than I could ever imagine. During all the baby-escapades, they slept on a couch in my room at the hospital. That my friends, is true love. I hope one day I can pass that on to T-baby. I've got a lot to live up to!

Project Thankful, Day 7:

Today I am thankful that as a working momma I can leave Tuckenstien with people that already love him dearly. T is THE ONLY boy in his daycare class. He gets some extra love and attention because of this. Everyday when I drop him off they get so excited to see his smiling face, and of course what he is wearing. (Proud Momma moment) Hubbs usually swings by the office after fetching him in the afternoons and always has a fun report from T's teachers and how they just adore him. Even though I don't get to spend every waking moment with him, I'm glad he is loved and cared for just the same. 

Project Thankful, Day 6:

Today I'm thankful that it's Election Day. 

The ads stop, the FB posts stop (yeah right), and the constant bickering of friends ceases. 

Do your duty, go vote. If you don't vote, you can't gripe.

Project Thankful, Day 5:

Although it's Monday, today I'm thankful for a job to wake up and go to. A job that helps me provide for my family, allows me to meet new people and work with some very dear friends. It's not always the easiest job but it's always fun... well.. most of the time. 

Project Thankful, Day 4:

Today I am thankful that a year ago today we found out that we were going to be the coolest parents EVA !!!

I cannot imagine my life without Sir Tuckenstien. He is the sunshine and rainbows, the hugs and kisses, and the absolute joy that fills my heart.

Today I am THANKFUL for a patient, loving, caring and understanding husband. This weekend as most of you know by now was homecoming weekend at TECH. Hubbs and I had big plans to hang out with friends, show our school spirit and show off our babe to all who cared. Unforunately, Tuck and his sensitive tummy had other plans... I'm thankful that when I have a baby exorsist vomiting in my bed, I also have an patient and understanding husband to difuse the ticking time bomb that has become my nerves. I'm thankful that when I fall asleep on the couch at 8 pm, that I have a loving and caring husband that lets me sleep peacefully and then moves me to bed. I'm thankful that God put us together. His yin to my yang, the peanut butter to my jelly, the cheese to my macaroni, the icing on my cupcake.



Project Thankful, Day 2:

Today I am thankful that one city could bring me so much..

9 years ago, I stepped out of my little bedroom in Tazewell and into an even tinier dorm room in Cookeville, Tennessee. It was here that I found myself. I had to. I didn't know ANYONE. I was the new kid, in a new town, with no connections. So I made some... and quick! I found some of my very best friends, my bridesmaids and my husband.

This town gave me my first big girl job, my first home and my sweet baby boy. This weekend I will celebrate this town and this university that gave me so much. It's homecoming weekend here at TTU and I can't wait to see all my homies. Thank you Cookeville. I am forever indebted to you.
