Last weekend we traveled east to Pigeon Forge for a little family Christmas frolicking. We ate at the Apple Barn, walked the streets of Gatlinburg and diligently searched for Dolly at her famous amusement park. {sad to report, she was not found}

What we did find however was a handful of dollars in coin form.. Hubbs was super jazzed:

On the way home we met up with Mim, Pappy and Uncle Matt to eat some birthday dinner for Mim's BIG 5-0!! Tuck got to meet his cousin Hunter for the first time. They were so fun to watch together!

Meme and Big Pa do a Turkey Fry every year the day before. We all get together, salivate over the smell and eat soups and delicious desserts. This year was no different... except for some special out-of-towner guests:

My laptop has been on the fritz lately so updating ye ole blog has gotten a little more complicated.. Yesterday I sat down to crank some posts out only to find that I was out of storage space for photos.. What's a blog with no photos you ask?? Crap. That's what.

We headed to Tazewell the weekend before Thanksgiving to do dinner with my family. We laughed, we kissed babies, we took family photos and I (and Nikki) made almost the ENTIRE meal ourselves !! It was a proud {minorly stressful} moment!
