Tales of the Tuck: Month 5

Favorite place to be: You still LOVE the bath, you LOVE to be in your bouncer, and you LOVE to lay in the floor and be entertained

Least Favorite place to be: On your changing pad, having your boogers and snot sucked out.. can't say that I blame you.

New experiences this month: You had your first taste of solid foods, your first Thanksgiving, your first (East TN) family photo, your first tooth, and your rolling from your belly to your back now !! Month 5 was a BIG month for you little boy!

Favorite toy: Your Kick and Play activity mat, your "jump jump", and anything to chew on
Favorite songs: You like any and all music so far, we've really worn out the Christmas songs lately.. you just grin and sometimes sing along

Favorite People: You don't play favorites, you spread that love around like butter on a warm biscuit. One day we will have to reiterate "stranger danger"

Doctor’s appointments:
Birth- 6lbs 8 ozs, 19 1/2 inches tall
3 Months- 14lbs 4ozs, 24 1/2 inches tall
5 Months- 16 lbs 3 ozs, 26 (and come change) inches tall

Food: Bottle and Solids, you have had cinnamon cereal, avocado and butternut squash thus far. You seem to REALLY enjoy the squash but you give anything a fair chance.

Funny moment: You are just a funny little boy, you keep as entertained always with you grins and coos

Scary moment: Nothing too major this month, thank goodness

Words: You repeat and say something that sounds an awful lot like: Drew, Dada and Momma. You always say Dada when your happy and Momma when you are screaming mad. NOT COOL.

Firsts: Your first tooth and rolling tummy to back are the front runners this month. I CANNOT believe these things are already happening!

Sleep: Unless illness intervenes you normally sleep about 10 hours at night

Message from Momma: Big T, you need to slow. it. down. Momma's heart CANNOT handle how much you have grown and changed in the last month. You got not one, but TWO teeth, started rolling over and have gotten so much more attentive. You try to mimic every sound that comes out of mine and Daddy's mouths. It's so cute to watch. I think you will give us plenty to laugh at when you start stringing words together. I was so excited to celebrate your 1st Thanksgiving. I am so very thankful for you. You are such a joy to be around. You are all grins, all the time.. even when there is snot running down your face or your face is blood red from coughing and screaming. Tis the season, right? I can't wait for Christmas, however, no present will compare to you. You are the best little boy, the. best. ever.
