I am blessed to have not 1 BUT 2 Great Dads!! Last weekend we traveled to Tazewell for an early Father's Day celebration with my Daddy.  I made this super cute card for him because I was feeling crafty:

 "Win or Lose, you better look good doing it."  I think maybe this inspired my costume addiction habit. :)

Today we celebrated with the other Big Daddy Dave. (Yes, it can get confusing when you are telling a story where both fathers have the same name.) Have no fear, I got a little crafty for his gift as well. We are pitching in for a golf excursion for he and the boys in the fall. (Does this mean the girls can have a shopping day ??)

Summer Showers Bring Crafty Crafts !

What started off as a delightfully sun shiny week has turned into one super gross pond all over the Cookeville area.. complete with random hail storms. YUCK.

To brighten my days, everyday, from now until the next Special Delivery, I just take a gander as these sweet gifts:

I found this website and IMMEDIATELY told the Cuzzy-Wuzzy about it. And requested the lobster
art in 1 Big, 1 Small. :) But I'm not a demanding person.. AT. ALL.

The Hubbs and I traveled east this past weekend so visit my Rents, and celebrate Father's Day a weekend early. (More on that next weekend) There is one thing in Tazewell that I miss ALMOST as much as the Fam.... and it's this sugary, chocolatey, deliciously sinful concoction...

This delightful little treat come courtesy of Pizza Inn. For Pizza Out, It's Pizza Inn !




Best recipe I've found so far to mimic this delectable madness:

-Box Yellow Cake mix
-mix cake mix according to box. (cake mix, egg and 1/2 cup water)
-add in 1/3 cup brown sugar.
-cover pizza crust with melted butter.
-put mix on top of buttered pizza crust, (crust already prepared).
-top with chocolate chips.
-bake according to cake directions
-top with powered sugar water mixture for icing

 *You end up with a lot of extra batter, so prepare for cupcakes or a layer cake!!

Brides, Babies and Best Friends

Our Summer Social Calendar is quickly filling up with weddings, showers, family visits and lake time. Sheeeww.. we have SUCH a rough life.

Spending time helping to plan a wedding, a couple baby showers and a bridal shower, I have put my excellent Google skills to good use. It was one day when I was Googling and "researching" that I stumbled upon a website called Pinterest. Heed my warning now, this website will suck you in like a cheesy Lifetime movie on a lazy Saturday afternoon. If you don't have time to waste.. DO NOT VISIT. Therefore, I LOVE IT !! It's very hard to explain so you just have to go to understand. If you love blogs, like I have come to (thanks Katie), then you will love this site. It's like a library for everything cool on any blog you could ever think of. WINNING.

Well, we...er...I did it.. "We" have a blog!

Why?

Because ... well.. because I wanted to!

Drew probably could not and probably does not care that we have one, as long as I don't talk smack about him on it. Done.

I thought it would be fun to share a little glimpse into our always entertaining life, because I know everyone reading this cares sooooo very much about what we are up to on a day by day basis :) That being said, I must warn you now that this will more than likely not be an up-to-date, day by day account. Sorry Mom :)

It will however, make you laugh, keep you informed and make you LOVE us more than you already do!
