Tales of the Tuck: Month 8

Favorite place to be: The. Center. Of. Attention.   Bottom Line.

Least Favorite place to be: Funny story, when we walk in your room at any time, you immediately start whimpering. You know that you are about to have to be still for 20 seconds for a diaper change or go to sleep. Mommy should proooobably start having more "playtime" in there, to break this habit.

New experiences this month: You got to attend your first surprise party, have your first school pictures, and first trips to the park.

Favorite toy: You like your plastic stack rings. You will unstack them, and then use them as symbols to make as much as much noise as possible. Anything and everything are toys to you. Actualy toys, remotes, jewelry, blankets.. I think you have a very active imagination

Favorite songs: Still digging banjos, PattyCake PattyCake, and the ABC's

Favorite People: You are still loving your family, and you have really started to take to the kids in your class. you light up when we do roll call at home

Doctor’s appointments:
Birth- 6lbs 8 ozs, 19 1/2 inches tall

3 Months- 14lbs 4ozs, 24 1/2 inches tall
6 Months- 17 lbs 1 ozs, 27 and 1/4 inches tall (Poor Pumpkin lost 11 ounces in 2 weeks thanks to the stomach bug and snot belly)
8 Months- You are a solid 19lbs (maybe+), we need to measure you to see how much you've grown

Food: Bottle and Solids, new to the list this month are: Mango, eggs (yolks), yogurt and plums
I'm happy to report the green bean department is improving!

Funny moment: You cock your head to the side and grin at as now when you flirt, it's precious! You love love to dance and it is so funny to watch.

Scary moment: Daddy went in to get you up one morning and you couldn't open your little eyes because they were so goopy. (gross) I called the doctor, and after a visit, found out that you had a "Contagious Sinus Infection" in your eyes. And that it was very easy to pass among little folks like yourself. Thankfully, your Meme kept you for a week and let it all pass out of your system!

Words: Da-da, Mama, and something that starts with a "B" sound. It's either bitebite or byebye. You are also saying something that sounds like "kiki", I'm thinking you are trying to say "Mickey". haha Daddy think you are trying to say "Kori". Only time will tell. :)

Firsts: You're clapping all the time now, you sometimes wave byebye, and you smack your lips for food and kisses

Sleep: Usually about 9-10 hours

Message from Momma:
Tucker, Tucker, Tucker Man... You continue to amaze me each and every day that I have with you. You are the smartest, funniest, most curious and handsome little man I've ever encountered. You interact with Daddy and I now like a big boy. You dance, and laugh and play all the time. You are too much fun, for your tiny little body. You can slow down anytime now. It hit me just the other day that you are just a few short months away from being in this great big world for a whole year. It absolutely blows my mind. You are the most precious thing I have ever known.
Every night as I rock you to sleep and pray over you, I thank God for blessing me by picking me to be your Momma.
