Tales of the Tuck: Month 6

Favorite place to be: The Bath, being pushed in your cozy coupe and bouncing Your JumpJump are by far your favorite places to be

Least Favorite place to be: On your belly! You don't tolerate tummy well at all, you will immediately roll over to escape it.

New experiences this month: Sitting up, "Snow", Real Food, Christmas and New Year's. I say "Snow" because it was a light dusting, so light in fact you can't even tell it from the pictures.

Favorite toy: Your Kick and Play activity mat, your "jump jump", and anything to chew on. Mommy and Daddy are also becoming pretty popular. You like to see yourself in mirrors and will often "talk" to the baby in the mirror.

Favorite songs: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, You are my Sunshine, ABC's and anything Daddy spouts off to you. You really enjoy his angelic singing voice.

Favorite People: You've definitely picked up on familiar faces and you light up when your family is around. You REALLY enjoy your teachers at school, of course, if I was getting loved on 24/7 I would be appreciative too.

Doctor’s appointments:
Birth- 6lbs 8 ozs, 19 1/2 inches tall
3 Months- 14lbs 4ozs, 24 1/2 inches tall
6 Months- 17 lbs 1 ozs, 27 and 1/4 inches tall (Poor Pumpkin lost 11 ounces in 2 weeks thanks to the stomach bug and snot belly)

Food: Bottle and Solids, so far you have had and ENJOY: apples, pears, prunes, bananas, avocado, sweet potato, butternut squash and peas. You have had and did NOT enjoy: Green Beans, but we are going to give that one another go soon.

Funny moment: You are making the most hilarious faces now, you have two teeth on the bottom and are constantly grinding them into your top gums. It hurts me to watch. I still have yet to photograph these elusive teeth, but you can see a glimmer of one if you look closely in this picture: (Really hoping Mrs. Ellie can capture one on Saturday!)

Scary moment: Just the snot belly puking fits that you have. They are both gross and terrifying.

Words: Back to babbling and screaming, dada still makes an appearance from time to time and momma when you're angry

Firsts: Your first Christmas, Your First New Year's, and you are sitting up for 20-30 minute periods before your tiny little neck can't hold up that pumpkin head of yours any longer.

Sleep: Unless illness intervenes you normally sleep about 10 hours at night

Message from Momma: My Sweet Tucker Baby, I can not believe that just 6 months ago you took your first breaths in this big new world. You were all I had hoped you would be and more. You are growing leaps and bounds these days. Daddy and I were just talking tonight about how big you've gotten and how we can't believe it's already time for your half birthday. You will always be my baby boy, no matter how big and how independent you get; and trust me, you are getting to be very much of both. I half expect to open the car door tomorrow morning to find you standing in the seat, throwing your hand up and saying "I wanna walk in by myself today Momma, thanks for the ride to school."  I treasure every snuggle, every extra rock, every kiss and every smile you send my way. You are what happiness and dreams are made of.
